Bikes4Freedom is built on a strong foundation, made possible by the commitment and start-up capital of founder and entrepreneur Roderick van Zuijlen van Nijevelt, together with a group of dedicated partners. Guided by a clear vision, mission and roadmap, the organisation is ready to take its first meaningful steps.

Throughout 2026, Bikes4Freedom will launch its first initiatives, drawing on the founder’s network to collect donated bicycles, raise funds and build lasting local partnerships. These efforts will pave the way for the first container of bicycles, which is planned to leave in the first quarter of 2027.

To help create momentum from the very beginning, the founder has committed to contributing an additional 10% for every euro donated during at least the first year, supported by an upfront commitment of €100,000. It is a personal investment in the belief that, together, we can create proven opportunities and freedom for many people in Namibia.
